Temple Trips: Layton Utah Temple

All my life I have loved temples! I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When I was a little girl and too young to go inside the temple, whenever we went on a family trip that was near a temple, I persuaded my parents to take a detour so that I could touch the temple. I have a goal to attend all of the temples in the United States. So far I have been to 72 temples, including eight international ones. I have so many more that I want to visit! This blog is about my visits to the temples, as well as the activities that I did in the area where I was attending the temple. Layton Utah Temple

Layton Utah was my 60th Temple

The Layton Temple is located at 1400 Oak Hills Drive in Layton, Utah. It can be seen from I-15. This is a beautiful, very large temple. It was dedicated in June of 2024. The Layton Temple is less than an hour away from about a dozen other temples! There are lots of places to eat nearby and fun things to do in the area, including Lagoon Amusement Park, which is less than fifteen minutes away.
