Temple Trips: Nauvoo Illinois Temple

All my life I have loved temples! I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When I was a little girl and too young to go inside the temple, whenever we went on a family trip that was near a temple, I persuaded my parents to take a detour so that I could touch the temple. I have a goal to attend all of the temples in the United States. So far I have been to 73 temples, including eight international ones. I have so many more that I want to visit! This blog is about my visits to the temples, as well as the activities that I did in the area where I was attending the temple. Nauvoo Illinois Temple

The Nauvoo Illinois Temple is my 15th Temple

In 2004 we had a big Whiting family reunion in Nauvoo, Illinois. We stayed at a huge house all together. This was about a month after my daughter Rebecca was born. We went to the City of Joseph Pageant, which was in its final season. We loved the pageant and we loved the visitor's center in Nauvoo! As part of the reunion, James' parents, and all of his siblings and spouses went to the temple together. It was my 15th temple. This was one of our very favorite family reunions.
