My 50th Temple

My son James served in the Tucson Arizona mission, Spanish speaking.  He had two temples within his mission boundaries -- Tucson and Gila Valley.  After he married our sweet daughter-in-law Ellie, we took them both back to tour James' mission in Arizona!  As part of our tour, we attended both of the temples in his mission.  The Gila Valley temple is a small temple.  It is located in Central, Arizona (5291 US-70).  

The grounds are beautiful!  We visited in December, so the nativity was set up in front.  We did a sealing session with our son and his wife, and it was such a special experience because one of the patrons who joined our group had traveled to Gila Valley to do temple work for her family members who had been natives of Gila Valley.  And to add to this, it turned out that our sealer also knew some of her family members.  It felt like a little family reunion in that sealing room, and we were all happy to perform so many sealings for family members that we had all brought with us.  We didn't do anything other than attend the temple while we were in the area.
