Temple Trips: The Casper Wyoming Temple

All my life I have loved temples! I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When I was a little girl and too young to go inside the temple, whenever we went on a family trip that was near a temple, I persuaded my parents to take a detour so that I could touch the temple. I have a goal to attend all of the temples in the United States. So far I have been to 60 temples, including four international ones. I have so many more that I want to visit! This blog is about my visits to the temples, as well as the activities that I did in the area where I was attending the temple. The Casper Wyoming Temple

I remember when the Casper Wyoming Temple was announced in general conference in April 2021. I immediately started getting texts from friends and family who knew how excited I would be to have a temple so closeby! The Casper temple is about 2 1/2 hours from us! We have watched with anticipation as progress has been made on the temple. These photos were taken in April of 2023:
